Melody has over thirty five years experience working with children of all ages in both private and public nursery schools, elementary schools, middle schools, and homeschool groups. In addition, Melody has eighteen years experience as a parent educator having taught parent education classes for both South Bay Adult School and The Center for Positive Parenting. Currently she facilitates private parenting support groups, workshops for parents as well as educators, and works with individuals in her private coaching business.
Melody received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development at California State University, Los Angeles in 1974, and a Master of Arts degree in Education in 1979. She earned an additional Master of Arts degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in 2006. She holds the following California Teaching Credentials: Early Childhood Education, Elementary, and Special Education.
Melody is a mom herself, of an adult daughter.
